Visit to Summit Brewery
As one of Minnesota’s most prominent craft breweries, Summit Brewing Company has become somewhat of a household name around here. Lucky for us, we got a chance to go visit the brewery for ourselves. In case you didn’t know, you can visit as well by reserving a tour!
Tucked away in St. Paul, Summit Brewery boasts office space, gift shop, beautiful beer hall, and brew area. The space is entirely classic, Minnesotan, and beer-focused. From the Minnesota Wild jerseys to the hardwood flooring and bar, you almost feel at home in the place.
Summit has been around Minnesota since 1986, when brewmaster/founder Mark Stutrud made a drastic career change from pursuing a Masters in Social Work. Since then, Summit has introduced over a dozen unique craft beers. Summit keeps it interesting with their brews; some are brewed year-round, some seasonally, and some are only available in specific locations, but all are deeply enjoyed.
To get your hands directly on a Summit beer, you can head to their beer hall and patio for special events and great brews.
