Tell us about your position and how long you’ve been with CCB:
As ‘Convenience and Grocery Coordinator’ I assist the N/A Brand manager and the N/A team by relief selling, assisting team members in gaining new placements, and developing new customers.
A typical day looks like:
Assessing the needs of the team each morning, then developing a plan for the day. Typically, if not relief selling for a teammate, I would make a list of team needs and combine those with projects/customers I would like to call on and then develop a plan. Could be anything from resetting a cooler, working to ensure that new products are scanning properly at store level, or calling on potential new accounts. No two days are the same.
What do you like most about working for CCB? 
I enjoy meeting new people, over the years I have met a lot of wonderful people in the marketplace. I am often told by family members “We can’t go anywhere where you don’t know someone!”
What do you find most rewarding?
I find opening new accounts and/or growing existing accounts to be the most rewarding. Our goal is, of course, to grow the company each and every year. The only way to do that is by finding new customers or selling more product to existing customers!
What do you find most challenging?
Probably the most challenging (or frustrating) is feeling unable to accomplish goals in chain accounts where the store manager and I would like to bring in a new product or build a display but are unable to do so because of decisions made at the corporate level.
What is your favorite product CCB distributes?
I don’t know that I could choose a favorite. I have found that I enjoy a good stout or porter now, that 10 years ago I wouldn’t have even tried.
What do you like to do in your free time?
Our family enjoys camping so we spend a lot of summer weekends doing that. I have two brothers still operating a dairy farm and I enjoy going to the farm and helping them out however I can.
What is your favorite food?
I have the good fortune to enjoy a lot of different foods, but one can never go wrong with a good pizza!
