In search of a weekend activity beyond the local pool? Starting May 20th, Canterbury Park is opening up for the season of live racing. Parents can enjoy races and a year-round card room, while the kids can find dinner and watch the horses run.
When it comes to cards, Canterbury Park is home to the Upper Midwest’s premier poker room, featuring 33 tables of Texas Hold’em, Omaha Hi-Lo and Seven-Card Stud action. Our comfortable and spacious poker room features tableside food and beverage service along with massage services to keep your game and shoulders loose. Use your MVP Rewards card in the Poker Room to earn free comps for your play. Chips bar located in the Poker room serves up your favorite cocktails until 2 AM.
You can also stick around for special events, including Festival Palomino, live music, and wine tastings. Canterbury’s event center hosts just about any event you can dream of, so be sure to stay up to date on their latest schedule.
While we love the horses, concerts, and cards, our favorite part of Canterbury is hands down their beer selection. The brews at Canterbury range from your every day favorites to your own local craft beer. You can belly up to their brand new bar and get a taste of just about anything.
